Slow Cooker Cheesy Burger Flavored Soup

SUGGSITIONS RECIPE

Ingredients:
Soup Base:
Ingredient Quantity
White onion, diced ½
Garlic, minced 2 tsp
Diced tomatoes (undrained) 1 can
Worcestershire sauce 2 tbsp
Lean ground beef 1 ½ pounds
Pickle relish 2 tbsp
Beef broth 3 cups
Yellow mustard 2 tsp
Finishing Touches:
Ingredient Quantity
Bacon, cooked and crumbled 8 oz
Heavy cream 1 cup
Frozen Southern Style hash browns 8 oz
Cheddar cheese, shredded 1 ½ cups
Instructions:

Brown the Meat and Hash Browns:

In a large skillet, brown the ground beef and frozen hash browns.
Drain off any excess grease.
Sauté the Aromatics:

Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté until fragrant.
Combine Ingredients in Slow Cooker:

Transfer the meat and hash brown mixture to the slow cooker.
Add the diced tomatoes (with juice), mustard, pickle relish, Worcestershire sauce, beef broth, and salt and pepper to taste.
Cook:

Cover and cook on high for 3 hours or low for 6 hours.
Finish the Soup:

Uncover the slow cooker and stir in the shredded cheese and heavy cream.
Cover and cook for an additional hour.
Stir in the crumbled bacon just before serving.
