Natural Remedies for Warts

1. Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV)

Soak a small piece of cotton in ACV.

Tape it to the wart and leave it on overnight.

Repeat nightly until the wart darkens, scabs, and falls off.

Caution: May cause irritation. Dilute if needed.

2. Garlic

Crush fresh garlic and apply it directly to the wart.

Cover with a bandage.

Change daily. The sulfur compounds can help kill the virus.

3. Banana Peel

Rub the inside of a banana peel on the wart daily.

The enzymes and potassium may help break down the wart over time.

4. Tea Tree Oil

Apply a drop directly to the wart once or twice a day.

Cover with a bandage.

Has antiviral and antiseptic properties.

5. Duct Tape Occlusion Therapy

Cover the wart with duct tape for 6 days.

Remove the tape, soak the area, and gently file the wart.

Leave the wart uncovered overnight, then reapply the tape.

Repeat for several weeks.

6. Aloe Vera

Apply pure aloe vera gel to soothe and possibly help the wart shrink.

Best for irritated or sensitive skin.

7. Vitamin C Paste

Crush a Vitamin C tablet, mix with a few drops of water, and apply to the wart.

Cover with a bandage.

Its acidity may help break down the wart.
