1. Prepare the Marinade
In a medium bowl, combine olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, zest, parsley, oregano, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are blended into a fragrant marinade.

  2. Marinate the Prawns
Add the prawns to the bowl and coat them evenly. Let them marinate for at least 15–20 minutes at room temperature (or up to 1 hour in the fridge for a deeper flavor).

  3. Preheat the Grill
Heat your grill or grill pan to medium-high. Lightly oil the grates to prevent sticking.

  4. Grill the Prawns
Place prawns on the grill and cook for 2–3 minutes per side, until they turn pink and slightly charred. Be careful not to overcook — they cook very quickly!

  5. Finish with Butter (Optional)
Brush the hot prawns with melted butter and an extra squeeze of lemon juice for a glossy, flavorful finish.

  6. Serve Hot
Serve immediately with fresh lemon wedges and sprinkle extra parsley on top. These prawns go perfectly with rice, pasta, or a crisp salad.

💡 Tips & Variations

  • Add a pinch of chili flakes for a spicy twist.

  • Use the same marinade for fish, scallops, or even chicken.

  • For a deeper flavor, marinate overnight and grill with the shells on.
