Bacon-Wrapped Smokies with Brown Sugar

Ingredients

1 pound bacon, cut into thirds
1 pound Lil’ Smokies (small sausages)
1 stick butter
2 cups brown sugar
Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F.

Cut the bacon into thirds and wrap each smokie (small sausage).
Arrange the wrapped smokies in a single layer in a baking dish.
Melt the butter in a saucepan, then stir in 1 cup of brown sugar until fully combined.
Pour the butter and brown sugar mixture over the smokies and bacon.
Sprinkle the remaining 1 cup of brown sugar evenly on top.
Bake for 15-20 minutes. Then, increase the heat to 400°F for 5 minutes or until the bacon crisps up.
These little bites will disappear fast, so be ready for everyone to ask for more!
