Overnight Oats with Apples
lngredients:
½ cup rolled oats
½ cup milk (dairy or plant-based)
¼ cup plain yogurt (optional for creaminess)
1 tsp chia seeds (optional for added fiber)
½ tsp cinnamon
1 tsp honey or maple syrup (optional, for sweetness)
½ apple, chopped (save some for topping)
Optional: nuts, dried fruits, nut butter
Instructions:
In a bowl or jar, combine the oats, milk, yogurt (if using), chia seeds, cinnamon, and sweetener.
Stir well until everything is evenly mixed.
Cover the bowl or jar and refrigerate overnight (or at least 4 hours) to let the oats soak and soften.
In the morning, give the oats a good stir. Top with chopped apples and any other preferred toppings like nuts or dried fruit.
Enjoy chilled straight from the fridge, or let it sit at room temperature for a few minutes if you prefer a softer texture.
